India's first 3G tablet



Olive Telecom has announced the launch of OlivePad VT100, the first 3.5G tablet of India. Expected to be priced below Rs. 25,000, it will hit the stores across the country in August.

The OlivePad runs on Android Operating System. The unique quality of the OlivePad is that it packs in features of a tablet as well as a smartphone.


The tablet supports 3.5G HSUPA, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth. It comes with a 3MP camera and also a front camera. Other features include flash support and mini USB support and it can be used as a touch notebook for browsing, multimedia, IM, social networking, gaming console, e-book reader and TV. It also allows voice and video calling, rendering it features of a smartphone.
