Spice brings M-6 sports phone @ Rs.4,499



Spice Mobile has come up with a new dual SIM handset called M-6 Sports. Priced at Rs. 4,499, the very name of the phone gives an idea of the target consumer for the phone. The M-6 Sports comes with a dedicated 'Sports Zone' that contains applications such as Yahoo Sports, Yahoo Tennis and Yahoo Formula 1.

Other features of the phone include a 2.2 inch QVGA TFT display screen with 262k colors, a 1.3 MP camera with digital zoom. The memory of the M-6 Sports can be expanded up to 4GB. Connectivity options of the phone comprise Bluetooth, WAP and GPRS.


The M-6 Sports supports social networking sites like Facebook, Yahoo and Nimbuzz. The device also packs in the Opera Mini web browser and video sharing application Vuclip. The 1000 mAH battery of the phone supports a talk time of 5 hours. It also includes a video player with MP4 and 3GP support, an MP3 audio player, FM radio with recording.

Kunal Ahooja, CEO and Director, Spice Mobiles said on the launch of the phone, "The launch of the M-6 Sports mobile phone is part of product strategy that supports the larger marketing and brand vision of staying ahead of the curve, while connecting with the youth."
